Shipping methods and approximate delivery times
* Depending on the weight of the shipment, we decide to ship either with Global Express Mail (EMS) (usually for smaller and single-box shipments) or to ship with DHL / FedEx (usually for larger orders). That way, we ensure to always apply the most economical shipping method and save you money on shipping costs
** Priority service
is very fast; it takes only 2 business days from door to
door. At the same time, shipping costs are about 20 %
higher than costs for Expedited shipping.
Shipping
restrictions due to global emergencies: Due to periodical shortages of intercontinental
air-cargo capacities, shipping service options may
change.
Spot-Rates: Spot-rates may be offered by FedEx for larger shipments, depending on daily overcapacities. By past experiences, spot-rates can save up to 50% on regular shipping rates. If shipments reach the required size/weight threshold for spot-rate eligibility, we will automatically request the spot-rate at FedEx and apply it to your shipment. Shipping rates Our shipping rates are weight-based for Global Express Mail shipments and volume-weight based for DHL and FedEx shipments. Shipping costs shown during checkout are estimated costs based on product value. We currently estimate 25% of the product value for shipping. With the final order confirmation, you will receive a fixed price for shipping and handling.
Bulk shipping at lower costs can be arranged for very large orders. If you are interested in having your order shipped by shared air-freight or shared ocean-freight, please contact us.
Import duty Import duties are determined by the country that the product is shipped to, that is, its destination. We do not have any influence on the enforcement of those duties and bear no responsibility for them. Many countries, such as the U.S.A., do not impose import duties on the products we sell. However, if import duties were demanded, it would be your responsibility as the buyer to pay those duties and all associated fees in accordance with the laws and regulations of the destination country. Import fees Larger orders with a total value of US$
2,500 or higher are considered formal entries into the
destination country. Formal entries require a so-called
Merchandise Processing Fee (MPF) to be paid to the shipper, in
order for the shipment to be released from customs. The
process itself is automated and you will receive an email from
the shipping company with a payment link. Only after payment
is received, will the shipment be released from customs. The
fee is a small percentage of the order total, with a minimum
of appr. US$ 45. Once you make the payment, please email us a
copy of the invoice / payment receipt for reimbursement. Shipping & handling rates reference table The shipping rates in this table are
estimates only. They can help you to determine the
approximate shipping & handling cost for any given item on
our website. To do so, you need to add-on about 30% of the
item weight for packaging. The weight of an item is listed in
the detailed item-description page.
